What you need to know about Lake Erie Not all lake Erie waterfront cottages are the same. Our waterfront is 100 feet from the cottage deck, you could pass a ball to the person in the water while sitting on the deck. With 5 steps down to the lake. Many cottage’s on lake Erie are on high banks with dozen of steps down to the waterfront and a steep drop. Some waterfront cottages overlook the water and have a street that runs across them that you need to pack and walk across the street with all your beach stuff. Who wants that when you can sit on the deck and watch the kids play in the water only steps away from them.

MattSeptember 18, 2024Wilson’s Lakefront Cottage is a gem! The newly renovated space is beautifully maintained with a stunning deck overlooking Lake Erie. The hot tub, kayaks, and tandem bike added extra fun, and the firepit by the lake was perfect for relaxing evenings. Wilson left us a nice little S'mores kit. The fire pit, hot tub and outdoor amenities left us with lots to do all weekend. The living area was cozy with a great selection of entertainment options. The secluded setting and close proximity to Dunnville’s amenities made it an ideal retreat. Highly recommended! Likely will book again in the future
SarahSeptember 13, 2024Location, Location! We spent two nights at the cottage to celebrate a 50th birthday and it’s beautiful. The outdoor space is well appointed and well provided for - hammocks, fire pits, kayaks, hot tubs, lawns games and more. We didn’t have time to use all the facilities but you won’t get bored! You get amazing views of the lake, and sunrises and sunsets are beautiful there.Sitting around the fire at night with the lake lapping and the stars twinkling is delightful.Kitchen was clean and well kitted out, the water pump is noisier than expected but it does turn off after a short while and isn’t too intrusive. Furniture is comfortable, the internet is reliable, and the host was responsive and communicative. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage to others, and I would book it again. -
KanikaJune 23, 2024Our weekend stay at Wilson's place was wonderful. The property was clean and very comfortable with all the things we needed and more. Our pet dog joined us for this stay and she had an amazing time in the huge backyard which was all fenced. She loved running around and played a lot of Frisbee with us. All of us spent most of our time outside in the backyard. It is right at the water with an amazing view and with a bunch of water equipment for guests' use.The rooms were are also very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all the basic necessities. We will definitely be back at Wilson's place to have another relaxing weekend or more.
FrancesJune 21, 2024We had every intention to relax and mission accomplished!! The lake was very peaceful and sitting on the deck was so very nice. The neighborhood was extremely quiet but not sure if things change during the summer or on weekends. We stayed M-F and it was so nice an quiet. There were kayaks, a bike, ping ping table and a hot tub if you're interested in doing anything.
